Important Shipping Update for USA Customers

As of August 29th, 2025, the United States has canceled the $800 de minimis rule, which previously allowed imports valued under $800 to enter duty-free with minimal customs checks.

This change means:

  • All imports to the USA, regardless of value, may now be subject to duties, taxes, and stricter customs checks.
  • The change was announced and implemented very suddenly, leaving logistics companies, carriers, and brands without clear guidance on how shipments will be processed.
  • As a result, there is currently a high level of confusion and uncertainty around delivery times, costs, and procedures.

Why we’ve paused shipping to the USA

At Alpine Nation, we want to make sure that your order arrives smoothly, without unexpected fees or long delays. With the current situation, we cannot guarantee this. To avoid disappointment, we have temporarily suspended orders to the USA.

What if I already placed an order?

If you ordered before the suspension of shipments, your order will still be shipped out as normal.

  • You will not be required to pay any additional fees beyond what you already paid at checkout.
  • However, we kindly ask for your patience, as delivery may take longer than usual. With the new customs rules, there is uncertainty around how long clearance at the border may take.

What happens next
